Big News for Us

We are excited to announce that Write Women Network is now offering author services! We will be updating the blog as we develop all of the service packages.

Why now?

If you don't know me, hello I'm Heather, owner of Write Women Network, founder of The Write Women Network Salons, The Write Women Book Fest, and author of romance and fairy tales. I have been building a community of authors for six years, largely working out what writers need by recognizing what I myself needed as an author. At the very moment I felt like I had much of it figured out, my husband Will got laid off from his writing and editing job of almost 24 years when the Baltimore office of Daedalus Books was closed down and operations were moved to the parent company in Ohio. After he looked for other writing jobs for a while, I suggested that it might be a good time to try and grow my author services business and he was excited by the prospect of helping other authors the way he has helped me. He not only loves editing and formatting, he is skilled at it too!

Since 2016 I have published three books, started a women authors salon, hosted publishing workshops, and started a women's book fest that has grown to over 100 women authors, none of which would have been possible without Will's skills, support, creativity, and encouragement. In 2024 I am set to publish three more books, all of which will be edited by Will. 

I would be remiss if I didn't mention the wonderful Sarah Riggle, who also is a fantastic professional beta reader and helped so much with Red Archer and Red Hunter.
